Positive Aspects:
Structure & Paint: The overall structure appears intact. The paint on the base, body, and mushroom detail is vibrant with only minor wear consistent with age.
Accessories: Original accessories (axe, walking stick, pipe) are present and appear to be in good condition.
Felt Hat: The hat shows no significant stains or tears and retains its shape well.
Color & Finish: Coloration is even with some natural aging, giving it an authentic vintage patina.
Condition Issues:
Incense Chamber: The interior holder shows blackening from previous use. This is normal for used Räuchermänner but worth noting for display vs. functional use.
Chipping/Damage:
Visible cracks and wood chipping around the incense holding area, particularly at the top of the lower half where the cone sits.
Metal incense brackets appear slightly bent but still in place.
Light wear on the base and underside, including scratches and surface dust.
Vintage Villages recommends that this item be used as display only to preserve it's current condition.
