Shipping Policy for Vintage Villages

Welcome to Vintage Villages, where we aim to provide you with the best shopping experience, including fast, reliable, and transparent shipping. Please review our shipping policy to understand how we deliver your orders from our store to your doorstep.

All orders are processed and shipped from Toronto, Ontario.

PO Boxes

We do not ship to PO Boxes. Please provide a valid street address at checkout to ensure successful delivery. Orders placed with a PO Box address will be cancelled or delayed until an alternate address is provided.

Canadian Shipping

We offer free shipping across all Canadian provinces.

For customers in Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Newfoundland & Labrador, free shipping is available with a minimum purchase:

  • Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Newfoundland & Labrador: FREE SHIPPING on orders over $200; otherwise, standard carrier rates apply.
  • Nunavut: FREE SHIPPING on orders over $250; otherwise, standard carrier rates apply.

Estimated standard delivery time is 2-9 business days.

International Shipping

We can accommodate international orders. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on carrier options available for your region. Please note that customs duties, VAT, and import taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer.

Estimated standard delivery time is 7-14 business days.

Pre-Orders

Pre-order items ship separately from in-stock items. If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock products, your in-stock items will ship immediately while pre-order items will ship when available (estimated Fall 2026 for current pre-orders).

You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information once each shipment is dispatched. For full details on pre-order terms, please see our Pre-Order Policy.

Order Fulfillment / Processing Times

We work hard to pick and pack your items as quickly as possible. We're a small husband-and-wife team, so occasionally it may take an extra day or two. Under normal conditions, fulfillment typically takes 2 to 4 business days. During peak holiday periods, processing may take slightly longer.

Peak Season vs Off-Season Fulfillment

For the purposes of our fulfillment schedule, Vintage Villages considers Peak Season to be:

September 1 to October 31 (Halloween season)

October 1 to December 31 (Christmas season)

During Peak Season, we ship orders multiple times per week and aim to process orders as quickly as possible.

Outside of these periods (our off-season), Vintage Villages operates on a reduced fulfillment schedule. During the off-season, we pick, pack, and ship orders once per week.

This off-season schedule supersedes our standard processing times listed above. Orders placed during this period will be queued and shipped on our next scheduled shipping day.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped, we will send you a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your package's progress to your doorstep.

Shipping Carriers

We rarely use Canada Post due to ongoing reliability issues. In the event of a Canada Post strike, rest assured that we use alternative carriers to keep your order moving.

We always use the best available rates from our trusted list of carriers.

Undeliverable or Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us due to incorrect shipping information, refusal to pay duties, or being unclaimed, the customer is responsible for any return shipping fees.

Damaged or Lost Packages

Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

For lost packages, contact us at info@vintagevillages.ca to initiate a claim.

Returns and Exchanges

Refer to our Refund Policy for information on returns and exchanges. Please note that return shipping costs are not covered by Vintage Villages.
